Welcome
- The Association is dedicated to the progression of professionalism in the Pet Stylist Industry, by providing a network of like-minded individuals for educational and sharing opportunities.
- The membership is involved in planning and hosting events. So, we are able to have multiple events at the same time across the state. We have simplified the schedule of these events for ease in attendance. Each third Sunday of the month* there is a possibility for education or socialization.
- In addition to those opportunities, we have started programs to give back. We have a mentor program; our members mentoring other members. Also, we have started a shelter dog grooming program. Our members volunteer their time and expertise to local shelters and rescue groups. The primary goal is to improve these dogs chances for adoption the secondary goal is to help these poor creatures feel better.
- This new website has the capability of providing interaction with the membership. It is set up in such a way that our members can easily provide us with content. Simply comment on what you read or see on the pages. We have a gallery of breed standard haircuts, contest styles, before and after, shelter dog grooms, and social events. We also have short videos. The more we hear from you the better this site will become.
*Exclude November and December because of the holidays.
